I Do Not Live in Pennsylvania

Are you interested in starting a local coalition in your area? Below, please find resources on the benefits of creating a local coalition. Coalitions work to bridge the gap between public safety and public health in order to come together to eliminate overdoses in your community.

Here at the TAC, we have assisted 45 coalitions across Pennsylvania in organizing efforts to implement data-driven strategies as they work on combating the impacts of the opioid epidemic in their area. Each county is unique and requires a tailored approach to implementing programs; however, at the core, all coalitions follow our six phase Implementation Framework in conjunction with organizational health principles.

The TAC was inspired by Project Lazarus, a community based approach to reducing overdoses in North Carolina.

Below are additional materials about the benefits of utilizing community coalitions to combat the impacts of the opioid epidemic:

Once you are ready to begin a coalition in your area, please check out the TAC Coalition Toolkit. The toolkit provides materials and templates coalitions need to get started.
