The Drug Enforcement Administration – Philadelphia Field Division conducted an assessment of laboratory-analyzed drug seizures found to contain cocaine with and without the presence of fentanyl, as well as combined cocaine and fentanyl presence in overdose death toxicology reporting. This analysis was conducted in response to reported increases in the co-occurrence of cocaine and fentanyl in other regions and subsequent inquiries regarding trends in Pennsylvania.
